Professional Summary
Changing hearts and minds through stories is vital, but so is policy change. Some folks don’t have a change of heart in time to meet a moment, and that’s why we need policies that protect and liberate all people.
I'm most interested in working within the intersection of storytelling and policy change. I am always looking for more ways to create message-driven media intended to help stimulate and steer national conversation.
I've spent my whole life in the arts - learning to create on my feet, identify and break down stories, get inside hearts and minds, and hone in on what motivates people.
In 2016, I founded kids on rocks productions - a production company, but queer, and obsessed with policy impact. I wanted to shift the narrative in media and amplify the voices and stories of women and queer folks.
In 2019, I was photographer and video content creator for the launch and the final month of the Cabán For Queens DA campaign. I filmed on the trail, editing videos and photos in moving cars and captioned videos in makeshift offices.
Most recently, I was communications director on Felicia Singh's campaign to flip the last Republican-held city council seat in Queens. Her Democratic primary win was historic - we doubled the electorate.
My work includes documentary film, video content creation at Signature Theatre, and filming interviews with folks like Gloria Steinem, Roxanne Gay, Kara Swisher, Cecile Richards, Alicia Garza and Raquel Willis at the Lesbians Who Tech Summit, video production and live audio at Columbia University, music videos, live concerts and stage productions.
Work has screened at festivals including OutWeb Fest, Big Apple Film Festival, Las Vegas Queer Arts Film Festival, Paris Short Film Festival and the (IN) Justice Film Festival. My video and photography work has also been featured in outlets like ATTN, Rebel HQ, The Nation, RevryTV, NowThis, GO Mag, Curve Mag, Univision, NY1, Queens Chronicle, and OUTtv.

Collaborated on campaign launch and social media strategy that included a video from the first video shoot with the candidate which filmed and edited with 20K organic impressions on Facebook within the first week
