Felicia Singh for New York City Council: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube
December 2020 - November 2021

Strategized and managed social media accounts for Felicia Singh, candidate and later Democratic nominee for NYC Council in Queens, NY. I wrote copy, created graphics and videos, coordinated photo coverage with staff and volunteers, and worked with volunteers to actively organize on social media.

Social strategy effectively told the story of the candidate, built trust with candidate and platform, created community connection to the campaign, activated volunteers and voters, and shared and created press.  Facebook events were created for field events to expand reach as well.

Ran an impactful and successful digital ad program throughout the primary and general election. Team Felicia doubled the electorate in the primary election.

Strategized and managed social media accounts for kids on rocks productions, a production company, but queer, and obsessed with policy impact. I wrote copy, shared video work, amplified local social justice actions and media that expands representation, as well as acquired clients via social media.

Please note: This business and its social media platforms were placed on a hiatus during the pandemic and while I was working full-time as communications director for Felicia Singh's campaign.

Dive In Deck: Facebook & Twitter

Strategized and managed daily posting on social media accounts for Dive In Deck, a small product-based business selling an original deck of conversation starting cards.

As a co-founder of this small business, I was part of all integral decisions around the creation of the product itself, the brand, and the marketing approach - from creative to sourcing vendors across the globe to processing and shipping product. In addition to running daily operations for the business, I strategized and ran social accounts, pitched brand partnerships and influencers, and wrote, directed and produced the product's first and only commercial - rooted in celebrating connection and community

Social strategy highlighted and invested in building relationships and connection, sharing and amplifying how customers are using the cards and where you can find them - driving sales and brand partnerships.

Coach of the Year: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
April 2015 - August 2015

Strategized and managed social media accounts Coach of the Year, an independent sports comedy feature film tells an inspiring true story of a swim team that tries to win a championship...without a pool to practice in.

Social strategy shared behind-the-scenes content, actively crowd-sourced screenings, as well as curated swim lifestyle and news content.

The Stop Boys: Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
October 2015- March 2016

Strategized and managed social media accounts for The Stop Boys, a comedic pilot about grown men who end up a boy band - think Spinal Tap meets N'Sync.

I was assistant director and producer on this project while it was filming and fundraising. I created the Kickstarter campaign, cut the fundraising video and wrote an article on a filmmaking media website to help drive traffic to the kickstarter. 

Social strategy highlighted filming status, hyped the cast, ran a successful fundraising campaign, amplified boy band stuff and made connections for the audience between similar comedic shows they already love and The Stop Boys.

Strategized and managed social media account for Go On Tape NYC, a small business providing self-tape services for actors by actors. 

Social strategy highlighted clients and services, as well as sharing film, theatre and television relevant industry news keeping clients engaged with the business between needs for services.
